Help balance the global stage through food, culture, and community
Why We Need Patrons
Too many regions rich in culinary heritage, biodiversity, and ancestral knowledge remain invisible on the global stage simply because they lack resources.
The World Regions of Gastronomy programme recognises, empowers and connects regions that prioritise food culture, sustainability, and innovation — but the participation costs can be out of reach for under-resourced regions.
- Preserve culinary heritage and cultural identity
- Embrace regenerative tourism practices
- Protect food sovereignty by promoting healthy and fair systems
- Participate in expert training and international promotion
- Strengthen local economies through responsible tourism
What is at stake?
- Cultural and culinary knowledge at risk of being lost
- Rising over-tourism in already saturated cities
- Vanishing local food systems due to lack of support
- Inequity in which regions have access to global funding
